"Automorphic Forms on Arithmetic Covering Groups"

Abstract: We'll discuss on-going attempts to describe the
Fourier-Whittaker coefficients of Eisenstein series on
central extensions of split, reductive algebraic groups.
While the motivation comes from automorphic forms, the
objects and methods are from combinatorial representation
theory. No prior knowledge of these objects will be assumed.
We'll finish with some wishful thinking about possible
applications to automorphic forms.
