Abstract: The geometry of polyhedral surfaces and the singularities of their projections turn out to be critical for several areas of computer graphics, especially the emerging area of called non-photorealistic rendering. I'll discuss several "contour finding" algorithms and show examples of the results they produce, and relate these to areas of polyhedral geometry.
