Metaphysical Plant

You walk into the next private hell, bracing yourself for the worst, only to find... nothing. Well, nothing but a wall plaque reading "Metaphysical Plant," Blackwell, and Blancwell. Wait a minute, where did Stopheles go?

"I can see by your vexed expression that you weren't expecting M. F. Stopheles to make such an abrupt disappearance," Blackwell chuckles.

"I believe you'll find that the current locale of our venerated general is not an accessible fragment of information," Blancwell boasts. Then he erupts into a ball of flame, screaming in terrible pain until he vanishes. It really is something to see.

"That's what he gets for constantly giving you information," Blackwell says snidely. You stare at him blankly. "Are you kidding me? You haven't noticed? His comments on every stop of the tour have been virtually synonymous with useful." He freezes and his expression changes. "You know, maybe I shouldn't be pointing this out."

And Blackwell erupts into a ball of flame, screaming in terrible pain until he vanishes. It's also something to see, but it's pretty much a rerun of the first explosion, although his squirming does manage to ignite the first four letters on the wall plaque.

Well, now you're on your own. And you still have no idea where Stopheles' center of power is. In fact, you're suddenly feeling very disoriented; you can't even remember what order Stopheles showed you the other ten teams. And what was Blackwell talking about before he vanished? If you could just chain together the day's events from beginning to end, and then head back to where you started, maybe you could work out once and for all where to plant the bomb.

Although if Stopheles has anything to say about it, you won't have a chance in... well, you know.
