B3D-Chapter 6
Though I know the horse that Dali planned was never built, are there any large sculptures that use perspective in this way that have been built?
Also, I like the Schlegel diagrams because they give one a different perspective of the regular polygons than what has been seen so far. The diagrams enable one to visualize fairly well the 3-D shapes of the polygons.
Next, I don't quite understand the "subdivision of the plan for the polyhedral torus"(pg.126) Where do these subdivisions fit into the torus?
Finally, an exercise for this chapter would be to observe 3-D representations of polyhedra in different perspectives both represented and not represented in the book. This enables a person to get a hands-on feel for different perspectives.
