The bulletin-board system that is used on this website was developed especially for the TFBCON2003 conference. Since many of the participants are mathematicians, mathmatical notation was particularly important in its design, so the system provides a convenient means of entering mathematics into your messages. A number of participants are adept at web-page design, so the system lets you format your messages in HTML if you wish. In particular, you can include images or other media as part of your messages, and can upload the associated files when you create your message.
The topics below explain the details of using the system:
- The Quick Guide to writing messages
- Mathematical notation
- Text versus HTML
- Simple formatting in HTML
- Images and links to other files
- Special characters
- The Message Form in detail
Since this system is newly designed for this conference, the system does not have a long history of testing. If you find that something doesn't work the way you think it should, it may be a bug. Please report any unusual behaviour to
