Exotic Heegner points and cycles on Kuga-Sato varieties.

Abstract: I will describe a new construction of algebraic points on CM
elliptic curves arising from higher-dimensional algebraic cycles on
(self-products of) Kuga-Sato varieties, and the indirect evidence it
gives for the Tate conjecture in certain cases.
