A Cube Goes to Brown

The idea for this comic book occurred to us some two months before the assignment of the final project. We were all occupied in the habit of drawing geometrical structures to aid in the visualization of materials discussed in this course. As the semester progressed, we became more skilled in the art of representing multi-dimensional figures, allowing us to draw more quickly, which in turn left time for the mathematical sketching to disintigrate into doodling. From cubes to cubes bearing eyes, grins, and even sporting the occasional beard and set of glasses, the drawings took on a more entertaining if less mathematical character. It was ultimately a natural decision for us to combine all of these elements, namely, mathematics, art, and humor. The fruit of this decision was the following comic book, "A Cube Goes to Brown." We hope you enjoy it. --Deb, Avi, & Lil
