An addendum to my B3D Chapter 2 comments…

In class someone made a model of a square coned(square pyramid) and then shifted. Yet, a person can take a square, shift it to form a cube, and then "cone." Are these two the same? Do they have the same volumes? What happens when you start with a square, cone it(a square pyramid) and then "cone" the figure again? Does this figure have the same volume as the other figures? Does it look the same?

Overall Comments…

At first, some of the ideas that this class has discussed have seemed a little detached from one another. However, I am beginning to see how all the different relationships of figures in space fit together.
