Examinations
There will be two mid-term examinations, during class hours. The
first will take place on Friday, October 4, and the
second will be given on Friday, November 8. The final
examination will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 16.
There will be weekly homeworks, due on Wednesday in class, and a
weekly quiz given in the section meeting each
Tuesday.
Although Math 9 is given only on a Satisfactory/No Credit
basis, exams will be graded as usual and students
will be told, by email, what their approximate
grade would be for the course. For purposes of
establishing a grade, homework and quizzes will
each count roughly 10 per cent, the two mid-term
examinations will each be worth 20 per cent, and
the comprehensive final examination will count for
40 per cent.
