Recitation	Math 100 recitations meet for 80 minutes on Thursdays. They provide an opportunity for you to ask questions, go over the homework, etc. There will be occasional short quizzes. Recitations are a required part of Math 100. Recitations for S01: 9:00-10:20am (BH 165) and 6:30-7:50pm (BH 165). Problem Sets	Note: Homework is assigned each class and is due the next class. Late homework will NOT be accepted. There are no exceptions to this policy. The problem sets are challenging. Don't leave them until the last minute! We will be moving rapidly. In order to learn the material, it is very important to DO THE HOMEWORK WHEN IT IS ASSIGNED. Homework must be stapled with name and recitation clearly printed at the top.

Grading: The course grade will be determined on the following basis:

Where To Go For Additional Help:

Office Hours: Your recitation section instructor will announce his/her office hours during the first week of classes. My office hours are listed above.
Math Resource Center (MRC): The MRC helps students with calculus, both with homework problems and with concepts from lecture. Drop-in help is available in room 105, Kassar-Gould House, Monday through Thursday, 8:00-10:00 pm. The MRC begins operations on Tues Sept 7 and closes for the semester on Weds Dec 8. Brown Academic Tutoring: The university offers both group tutoring and, for those who are having significant difficulties with a course, one-on-one tutoring.
