Important Note: This first homework set reviews
material that should be familiar to you. There are a lot of
problems, but they cover only material from Math 90 or your high
school AP class. If it takes you more than 2 hours to do these
problems,then you need to spend time reading and reviewing the
relevant sections of the book. [A standard rule of thumb is that
a typical college class requires two hours of work outside of
class for each hour of class. Math classes often require more.]
