Guidelines for Exam 1
(back to class homepage)

Exam starts at 10:30 AM sharp. Arrive 5 minutes early to BIOMED202.

NO NOTES, NO CALCULATORS, NO BOOKS, nothing but writing instruments.

Exam consists of:

- Two short-answer questions.

- Three to four questions requiring proofs. These problems are identical or very similar to homework problems and exam study questions!

TIP:

You are expected to know the definitions of continuity and different kinds of limits like the back of your hand.

WARNING:

As the exam nears, do not attempt to memorize, rather than understand, proofs. On an exam, if you attempt to write out a proof from memory rather than from understanding, it's likely to come out like it was chewed through Google translate. Mathematical nonsense won't get partial credit, and in fact will be penalized.
