About the Conference
The DRP network program kickstarts with a large informal workshop May 26-27, at MIT .
Whether you are thinking of implementing a directed reading program in the future, a current organizer, a
former participant, an educator or mentor, or are interested in learning more about what DRPs can do, we invite
you to join us!
- "How-To" sessions giving a toolbox for starting a new program
- Panel featuring committee alumni from existing DRPs talking about challenges and lessons of local implementation
- Research on supporting members of stigmatized and underrepresented groups, presented by invited social psychologists
Abigail Stewart (Michigan) and Ozlem Ayduk (UC Berkeley).
- Discussion on tools and models for continuity and sustainability
All participants must register by filling out this form.
There is no registration fee.
We will have limited financial support available for participants in need of funding; interested applicants should register before March 30.

The conference will begin the morning of May 26, and end late afternoon on the 27th.
