An intensive four-week summer mathematics program for eighteen talented undergraduate women will take place at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. (For freshmen and sophomores only!)
Room and board provided, as well as a travel allowance and a stipend of $1,600.

The program brings together research mathematicians with undergraduate and graduate students for an intensive 11-day workshop on the campus of the Institute for Advanced Study which is designed to address issues of gender imbalance in mathematics. This is for undergraduates at the junior and senior levels, graduate students at all levels, and postdoctoral researchers and lecturers.

IPAM Research in Industrial Projects for Students

Students are part of a team consisting of a faculty mentor, an industrial sponsor, and four undergraduate students (in mathematics and related majors), and work on an applied mathematics research project formulated by the industrial sponsor.

The MTBI program is an 8-week summer research program. Approximately half of the program involves attending lectures, and the last half is geared towards group research. MTBI 2005 will be hosted by Los Alamos National Laboratory (Center for Nonlinear Studies) in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

BioMEMS Bioengineering Summer Institute

We are seeking two undergraduate students to serve as Residential and Teaching Assistants (RA/TA's) for the upcoming summer program, July 1- July 28, 2007. UTRA

Summer Student Fellowship (SSF) at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI)

Summer Student Fellowships are awarded to undergraduate students completing their junior or senior year at colleges or universities, studying in any of the fields of science or engineering with at least a tentative interest in the ocean sciences, oceanographic engineering, mathematics, or marine policy.
A stipend of $412 per week for 10 to 12 weeks is provided, as well as support for travel to Woods Hole.
