Zeta Functions of Prehomogeneous Vector Spaces: A Special Case

Abstract

A prehomogeneous vector space is a vector space V equipped with the action of a group G which has an open dense orbit, but we won't really talk about that. Instead, we will focus on the particular case of binary quadratic forms, and how a related zeta function gives us a nice result for Eisenstein series.
