Linnik's No Finick

The original "Linnik Problem" was to show that integer points on the surface of a sphere with integer radius have uniform distribution. While Linnik was able to get this result conditionally using an "ergodic method", this problem is also tractable via the theory of automorphic forms, particularly nontrivial bounds on their Fourier coefficients. Much of my talk will be spent better explaining those previous two sentences.
