Abstract

This talk is about a soon-to-be-published paper of Michael Filaseta and Samuel Gross. The result is roughly as follows: for f(x) a polynomial with non-negative integer coefficients <= N and f(10) is prime, then f is irreducible over Q. And this is a sharp bound. We will show other related results if time permits.
