The Putnam competition is the leading math competition for undergraduate students in the United States. It will be held this year on Saturday Dec 2, and will consist of two 3-hour exams (10 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM). All undergraduate students, regardless of major, are welcome to participate. Jeremy Kahn and I will host weekly practice sessions, based on past exams, on Mondays at 6 PM. Our first practice session will be on Sep 18 and will be held in Smith-Buonanno Room 106.
