The "Domain" window allows you to choose a section of the domain to
highlight in the graph. It displays a horizontal line and a magenta
segment that can be specified by choosing a yellow center and a green
endpoint, either on the right or the left.
The "t, y(t)" window graphs y(t) as a function of t with the magenta
curve, and green and yellow points corresponding to those in the
"Domain" window.
The "t, x(t)" window shows the graph of x(t) as a function of t
including the image
of the magenta interval and the green and yellow points corresponding
to those chosen in the
"Domain" window.
The "Range" window shows the parametric curve (x(t),y(t)) including the
image of the magenta interval and the and green and yellow points
corresponding to those in the "Domain" window. The "Range" window is a
3D window showing the graph of the curve (x(t),y(t),t). If we look down
the z-axis, we get the parametric curve in the x-y-plane.
If we look down the y-axis, we get the graph (x(t),t), a reflection of
the graph (t,x(t)), and similarly if we look down the x-axis, we get
the reflected image of the graph (t,y(t)).
