Electron Champ is the
companion to my paper
The 5-Electron Case of
Thomson's
Problem .
This program
is a graphical
user interface that contains the
computer code appearing in
my recent
proof that the
triangular bi-pyramid globally minimizes
the Coulomb potential for 5
points on the sphere.
You can play with a
web version
or you can
download the program.
When you download
the program, you get a tarred directory called
ELECTRON.tar.
When you untar the file, the code
appears in the directory Electron.
This directory has a README file which
explains, in a very rudimentary, how to
use the program.
