Masi Oka '97 Masi worked with Laura Dorfman and Steve Lovett on interactive course materials for Banchoff's on-line courses. In addition to his mathematical involments, Masi was interested in the theater arts: "A new alumni group, the Brown University Entertainment Group (BUEG), has formed in the Los Angeles area. Masi Oka '97 is spearheading it, trying to get a professional and social network going. One of BUEG's goals is to provide guidance to recent graduates moving to Southern California who are interested in careers in the entertainment industry." the Brown Alumni Magazine Online, August 2003 Currently playing the role of "Franklin" on the NBC comedy series, "Scrubs."
