ABSTRACT

A local ordering of a simplicial complex K is a partial ordering of the vertices of K that restricts to a total on the closed star of each vertex. In this paper, we exhibit a simplicial mod 2 cycle that represents the dual of the ith normal Stiefel-Whitney class of K.
