David Kaplan '93

David helped develop the geometric models used in several of Banchoff's papers. Most notably, David was instrumental in implementing the attractive parameterization of the Klein bottle that appears in several of Banchoff's artworks, including the transparent Klein bottle that was the icon for the art show Para Além da Terceira Dimensão.

David went on to the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he earned a Ph.D. in Physics. He is now a Postdoctoral Researcher in wildlife, fish and conservation biology at the University of California at Davis. His web home page has more details about him and his interests.

A message from David is available on this web site.
