Standard Academic Conduct Statement: Your conduct in this course, as with all courses, is governed by the Brown Academic Conduct Code, http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Dean_of_the_College/academic_code/code.html .
The general rule: you may discuss your assignments with classmates, instructor, friends, etc., but the submitted assignment must be worked out in writing by you alone. Exam work is strictly individual and you may only consult material which is explicitly approved by the instructor. If you have any doubt about any aspect of academic conduct, ask.

Web homework assignments will be handled using the book web site; note that there are help tools and you can try again untill you get those right. Paper assignments will be posted on canvas.

Some lecture summaries will be posted here.

For students wishing to access canvas during shopping period, we were told:
...they would have to use the new courses.brown.edu.

Once there, they will be able to select an option to "View Course Materials".
This puts them in a temporary 'shopping' group and allows them access during shopping period.
Please note that there is a delay of a few minutes for their access.
At the end of shopping period, these students will be taken out of the temporary group.
They would need to officially register for the course to then gain access.
