How to Produce Symmetry




There are four types of action that create symmetric results:


I. Translation:

Shifting an object to another place, but not changing its orientation in space



II. Rotation:

Rotating an object around a point



III. Mirror Reflection:

Reflecting an object across a line



IV. Glide Reflection:

Reflecting an object across a line and performing a translation on it
